CNC Mill Operator - 2nd Shift 4-Day, 10 hours -- Enjoy 3-Day weekends! Job
Responsibilities:
Effectively and efficiently produces machined parts by operating a CNC mill machine.
Preference with experience with Mori Seiki or Brother mill equipment.
Candidates MUST have the ability to monitor and solve machining problems independently.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years machining experience with a wide variety of part types and materials.
Job Duties:
Operate either Mori Seiki or Brother CNC mills using Fanuc controls; offsets, compensation, calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.
Maintains specifications by taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Demonstrate independent thinking and ability to inspect own production parts; must be able to effectively read blueprints.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
