Job Description
Coram/CVS Health is looking for a high-energy customer service professional to join our Machesney Park team as a Customer Service Rep - Billing! This rewarding opportunity allows you to work closely with our national branches and insurance providers to verify coverage for in-home IV therapy for Coram's patients. We believe that Customer Service Reps are a key part of creating a positive experience for our patients.
As a Customer Service Rep - Billing you will:
Responds to telephone, fax, and orders from referral sources and patients.
Provides information on home infusion services.
Resolves patient/customer complaints by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate corrective action.
Completes data entry to ensure accuracy of reporting and outcomes.
Investigates data entry issues to ensure accurate reporting and billing.
Monitors computerized reports to avoid delays in customer billing information.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
This is a full-time, permanent, benefited position and is NOT through an agency. Typical work hours for this role are Monday Friday, between 7:00AM 5:00PM, with an opportunity for over-time per business need.

Required Qualifications
Minimum two years of customer service experience.
Effective verbal and written communications skills.
Excellent detail orientation and time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft business software.
Preferred Qualifications
Call center experience.
Home infusion or durable medical equipment (DME) experience.
Experience work in a healthcare environment.
Experience working with healthcare insurance verification or obtaining medical authorizations.
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
