Software QA Manager

The Software Quality Release Manager is responsible for QA Testing of Practice Velocity's product lines all aspects of the development life-cycle and across all developments.  This position also works with development group to optimize the product delivery pipeline for continuous delivery and continues integration.   Duties and Responsibilities: Implement automated testing strategies. Ensure new product requirements are well defined and testable Work with the engineers building functionality to make sure testing is considered during the development process and not as an afterthought. Ensure that tests are then integrated into the Continuous-Integration systems and well tested on staging/pre-production platforms. Plan release/deployment considerations for the new functionality. Post-release look at instrumentation and monitoring systems to validate it is functioning as expected. Ownership of test platforms. Responsible for owning the test frameworks, reviewing tests, looking for gaps, and driving improved automation. Work with engineering, operational and product leads to continually find ways to improve the development and release process. Forward plan the releasewindows and cycles across a portfolio Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans Weekly ReleaseReporting Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges Maintains the releaseschedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors. Continually work towards making improvements in the release process Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists. Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists Researches new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyzes their application to current configuration management needs Qualifications: 2 years' experience as a QA Manager in CI/CD environment Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle with a focus on automation testing Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills Basic understanding of programming/script languages Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office expert level knowledge of Excel, working Knowledge of Access Proven experienced establishing and maintaining a CI/CD capability with goal of daily release code Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field At least four years of previous QA Management experience At least eight years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development Formal training in project management practices preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
